Founded in the 1980s, American art home brand Michael Aram was created by Armenian artist Michael Aram. Inspired by a trip to India when he was 25, he decided to end his life as a young painter in New York and pack his bags for India, where he would combine the ancient Indian metal crafts with the artistic beauty of nature to create functional products that were both decorative and artistic in design.
