Organized by GDD (Global Design Distribution), the distributor of L’OBJET in China, the Pop-up show will comprehensively present the two incredible collaborations between the luxury lifestyle brand L’OBJET and Los Angeles-based artist duo Haas Brothers (Nikolai and Simon Haas) and lead the audience into a playful home design world. The latest released (in China) second collaboration TOGETHER AGAIN becomes the opportunity to launch the pop-up show while we also would like to invite everyone to enjoy the beautiful and joyful moment of regathering after a long time of separation.
The L’OBJET × Haas Brothers collection was born out of the incredible collaborations between luxury lifestyle brand L’OBJET and Los Angeles-based artist duo Haas Brothers (Nikolai and Simon Haas).
Founded by Elad Yifrach in 2014, L’OBJET combines meticulous craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, delivering unique stories through either sober or avant-garde home design. Haas Brothers are known for their whimsical and playful designs that provoke and cross boundaries. In 2018, the extraordinary imagination of Haas Brothers and the craftsmanship of L’OBJET combined to create a group of fantasy creatures with exceptional quality and functional features.
In 2022, the miracle journey of design and fantasy continues with the second collaboration L’OBJET × Haas Brothers: Together Again. The idea of the second collection came about during the lockdown, L’OBJET and Haas Brothers craved those moments of living together and creating things at times of isolation – a deep human topic. The whimsical new characters illustrate the rediscovery of friends and family with an infectious zest for life. Their vivid personalities even let people ignore their function and enchant everyday life.
As winter approaches, the eccentric creatures travel from Paris to Shanghai for a joyous Pop-up TOGETHER AGAIN in Gallery All, organized by GDD (Global Design Distribution), the distributor of L’OBJET in China. Haas Brothers ’ illustrations decorate the corners, the Huggers, a pair of lovable monsters is leading the party, while the playful Meditators invite people to enter the Meditation Room and take a break, leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind. Meanwhile, the whimsical creatures from the Mojave Desert leap between the suede dining table and pedestals, having fun together and amusing people. It’s time to enjoy the beautiful moment of seeing loved ones again after a long time.
